Kamloops’ Newest Animal Sanctuary – Kamloops Photographer Jo LeFlufy

Texted to my phone yesterday from my husband: “HUGE announcement coming today about the newest wildlife refuge area in Kamloops.”

My reply: “Huh? What do you mean by wildlife refuge area? For what?”

His reply: “Dunno, but will tell you as soon as I find out!”

I never heard back from him, so I forgot all about his text. When he came home from work, I still hadn’t remembered the text and I was super tired, so I didn’t ask him about it. He went out for a couple of hours and, when he came back, he asked me to come out to the garden he had just fenced for me. I didn’t feel like going outside AT ALL, but he said it would only take a second, so I trudged out there grumpily.

There was an ugly blue blanket draped over one part of the fence and, as he opened the gate and told me to go inside the garden, I asked, “What’s with the blanket?” That’s when I noticed he was standing there with a camera in his hand and he was grinning from ear to ear. “I dunno,” he smiled. “Why don’t you take it off and look.” So I did.

Needless to say, I laughed…and laughed…and laughed…

For those of you who haven’t read about Greg’s favorite nickname for me, you can read a hilarious blog post about it here and you can also read another funny one along the same theme here and then you’ll understand why this sign is so funny. He had it made just for me and my garden! He’s a seriously funny guy!

So, yah, the quality of the pic isn’t up to my snobby photography standards, but you get the gist of it! Funny guy!
