When I was graduating (way back in ’92), Don McFadden was my co-Valedictorian during the grad ceremonies. I believe his younger brother, Dave, was in Grade 8 or 9 at the time and I didn’t know him very well, but I remember that he was sweet. I hadn’t seen Dave since 1992, so when he contacted me during my March Madness sale, I was interested to see him and learn about what he’d been doing with his life. It’s always nice to see faces from the past.
Dave showed up at my house with his two adorable girls, Emily and Arica and right off I could tell that he was hopelessly head over heels for them. And, after spending some time with them, I could totally understand why. Dave’s girls are beautiful, intelligent, funny and really sweet. I liked them immediately. And Dave’s obviously a great guy and a fantastic dad. I really enjoyed our shoot and, as I always LOVE it when my clients are willing to try anything I ask of them, I was stoked when Dave agreed to climb all over playground equipment. He even got a little stuck in the merry-go-round when I asked him to crawl inside it! Hilarious.
Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot. (At least I can still edit photos and blog while on bed rest)!!
Poor Dave, I made him run the girls round and round and round.
Good thing he’s strong!!
Skipping rocks on the river by the railroad tracks…Tim McGraw aint got nothing on me…
And, my favorite of all the pics. I asked Arica if she could put her dad on her shoulders for a pic…LOL
Thanks McFadden family. I’m glad you loved your pics and I can’t wait for you to see the photobook in a day or two when I’m finished it!
Have a good day my friends. I wish you all enough…
